The Maternity Session took me to NW3, which is one of the most beautiful green areas in London.
The Pergola is the hidden delight of Hampstead Heath. It overlooks West Heath. William H Lever, later Lord Leverhulme, a wealthy idealist, patron of the arts, lover of architecture and landscape gardening and Thomas Mawson, the celebrated landscape architect, worked together to build this little hidden secret in Hampstead Heath. The building started in 1905 and was finished in 1906, with further extensions added in 1911 and 1925.
Lord Leverhulme wanted it to be the setting for extravagant Edwardian garden parties while at the same time being a place where his family and friends could spend long summer evenings enjoying the spectacular gardens. It reminds me a bit about the Netflix drama Bridgerton. The Hill Garden is a beautiful, landscaped garden which was the private garden of a now demolished manor house.
Maternity Outfit for Autumn Photography
It was one of our first chilly days in London, and the cashmere dress was such a great way to give warmth and timeless chic at the same time. Her classic yet fresh pearl jewellery was a great way to elevate the dress. Her chunky boots helped to bring the outfit into autumn without adding an oversized scarf or coat.
Meeting early is key to enjoying the quiet and peace before the city wakes up. Except for some dog walkers and parents with toddlers, the park in Hampstead Heath was pretty much empty.
I love to create and add photographs full of life, movement and creativity to every gallery. Running, playing and exploring is always easily achievable with little prompts and hints. Enjoying the moment will help to make and document those memories.
