Petite Session - Family Photography
Kew Gardens Is the perfect spot for family portraits in London all year-round. This year's spring event was held in Kew Gardens at the Mediterranean Garden. Petra and her son Olli, whom I had the pleasure to photograph many times this year, joined us and chose the olive grove. Petra booked the first spot that day and was treated with the most beautiful morning sun. It can sometimes be hard to get the family out of the house, especially when everyone is supposed to look their best, but it is so worth it. This light-filled gallery is proof that the crisp morning sun not only makes the most beautiful skin colours the light reflects and dances beautifully.
I let Olli lead the way and explore the little Olive Garden. Petite Sessions are only 10-15 minutes long, and five images are included. Petra decided to upgrade her Gallery as she couldn't decide on her favourites. My favourite photo is definitely the perfect portrait of Olli where he laughts with his mummy about my silly joke. This is something that's always included in my family photoshoots -silly jokes! Olli laughed hysterically about it and couldn't stop saying it, which was kind of perfect. I did apologise afterwards, as I've been told he said it all weekend long!
