Natural Maternity Photography at Kew Gardens

Kew Gardens is one of my favourite locations year-round and certainly the perfect location for Maternity Photos in London while the roses are in full bloom.

Whimsical, romantic and timeless. As a London-based maternity photographer, I absolutely enjoy photographing your family in a stunning location like this.

This absolutely beautiful Mama is a dear friend of mine. She met me mid-day in the high sun, in between the roses. The smell was incredible, her soft dress was flowing in the wind, and her little boy was adorable, like always. I have had the privilege of capturing his little smile for a few years now, and he never disappoints.

Yep, that's me. Light-filled photographs with a film aesthetic, without waiting for the film rolls to post, scan and send them back and forth between the film lab and clients, or even worse, getting lost in the post. Modern cameras are a beast, a clever invention. Tack sharp and almost too luminant in colour. Here is where editing can play such an important part. We can, in post-production, make art out of snaps. the beautiful moment can turn into an unforgettable memory on paper.

For me, it's all in the sweet moments: the little in-between kisses, handholding, and wrapping arms around mother's legs. It's exactly those little moments we look back on and remember so fiercely in our motherhood era. These moments we might not even take in at that moment, but they are something we remember instantly when we look back at the finished gallery.

Kew Gardens is one of the most beautiful gardens in England. The Victorian Palm House is an iconic sight with a stunning backdrop and the most beautiful roses. Home to 170 different roses, the Rose Garden is designed to be a floral feast for the eye.

In 1848, the Rose Garden was designed by the English landscape architect William Nesfield. 

Somehow, it wasn’t planted until the 1920s, but since then, it has blossomed. There were 25 new rose beds added in the last five years, making it a must-see for your next trip during the rose season. The Palm House was the first glasshouse built on this scale. It was constructed in 1844 by Richard Turner. It's an impressive building with beautiful patterns and artwork. Perfect for everyone interested in architecture and beautiful buildings with history.
