Best London Locations for Maternity Photos
Spring is approaching, and I am busy planning maternity photo sessions around London. My mum-to-be clients love the diversity of our city and the endless possibilities for the perfect pregnancy portrait locations.
I thought it was time to wrap up a little journal post about my favourite locations in London to help you decide.
If you are a lover of art and architecture, just like I am, then this is the most stunning location on my list.
St Paul's Cathedral
Do I have to say more? This is by far my most asked-for location! It's a client's favourite and mine too.
It is stunning during cherry blossom time and later when the roses are in full bloom. The architecture of the cathedral and the clean background makes it the perfect location to focus on your pregnancy and bump. This will also be a stunning location if you want to connect your wedding pictures with your baby announcement. You could always wear your wedding earrings or other little accessories that remind you of your happiest day (as a couple) so far.
St Mary's Rose Garden
My Instagram blew up when I posted this session. Not only is Kate the most stunning mum-to-be, but the location also makes this look like an English rose in the most beautiful and famous rose garden in London. Regent's Park is located in central London, easily reachable from all boroughs and has lots of little pockets to offer for your maternity pictures.

The Pergola in Hampstead Heath
If you have already swooned over the green and lush header of this blog post, then The Hill Garden and Pergola in Hampstead Heath `(north London) might be the perfect maternity photo location for you. With stunning architecture, lush greens and the most beautiful flowers (depending on the month), this hidden spot in North London is simply breathtaking. I would love to return to this spot in Spring with you.
